Since becoming a mum myself I've had many conversations
with women who tell me that they didn't enjoy the birth of their children. Now,
this seems to me, to be a real shame. Giving birth is all about bringing a new
life into the world. It's about hope and it's about joy.
Some women have told me that

So how can hypnotherapy help?

easier labour will be. When we are able to stay relaxed, the body works
much more efficiently. It is able to produce more of the natural pain
reducing hormones - endorphins - which benefit both mother and baby alike.
The uterus also dilates easily and quickly which means that less time is spent
in labour.

Helping couples slow to conceive
Sometimes conception is slow to happen. There is not always a physical reason
for this. Getting pregnant and starting a family is very emotional and couples
often invest lots of time and effort in getting pregnant. After a time, couples
slow to conceive, all too often start to become anxious and stressed because of
the lack of success.
Anxiety, unfortunately, tends to create the wrong balance of hormones in the
body, which means that the environment for conception is not quite right.
When you are able to relax and 'let go of the reins', the body will quickly
rebalance itself.
