We all hear that stress is bad for us, but how many of us know why?
Some moderate stress isn't all that bad. It can actually motivate us to do
something that we need to do, such as revise for an exam, or fill in our tax
forms!
Stress is designed to help us cope with a short term
emergency. This instinctive mechanism is known as the 'fight or flight' response
