Overcome Fears & Phobias
A phobia is a high anxiety response to an object, situation, or even a thought and symptoms mirror those of 'Panic Attacks' and can cause great upset or embarrassment to an individual.
Phobias and fears can manifest towards anything (such as fear of flying, visiting the dentist, seeing spiders or being near balloons) and they can seem ridiculous, absurd or even funny.
For the person experiencing a phobia, however, the severity of terror can be disabling and too much to bear.
What I can do to help remove your phobia
- explain how phobias are created so that you understand their purpose
- use the 'Rewind technique' which is a quick and effective method to reduce the phobic response
- rehearse a more normal way of behaving when faced with a phobic trigger during hypnosis
