World Menopause Day 2025: How Hypnotherapy Embodies the Spirit of Lifestyle Medicine

October 18th marks World Menopause Day 2025, and this year’s theme — Lifestyle Medicine — couldn’t be more timely.
This global awareness day, led by the International Menopause Society, invites us to rethink how we approach menopause. It’s not just about symptom management — it’s about using lifestyle as medicine to promote long-term health, balance, and vitality through midlife and beyond.
🌸 What is Lifestyle Medicine?
Lifestyle medicine focuses on the power of everyday habits — what we eat, how we move, how we sleep, how we manage stress, our social connections, and the substances we avoid — to prevent and even reverse many chronic conditions.
When it comes to menopause, these foundations are vital. The hormonal changes of midlife can affect mood, sleep, weight, and cardiovascular and bone health. But small, sustainable changes to daily life can make an enormous difference.

Hypnotherapy aligns beautifully with lifestyle medicine because it helps create the mental and emotional conditions for change.
